Epilogue

Now that I'm back in the States everyone wants to know how I enjoyed my time in Israel. For me, that question has no easy answer. What were my goals when I started out? To learn and volunteer - I certainly accomplished those. To figure out my life - what Hashem wants from me - I learned that it's not so simple. Everything happens in its right time and you can't hurry the process.

Some of the experiences I had in Israel were so unbelievably precious. There were others that were truly awful. Israel is a land of paradoxes, of events that happen in the blink of an eye. Only one things remains constant, and I would like to close my scrapbook by quoting Sefer Devarim:
