How to Build a Good City
When you start a city from scratch, build a small area of the three main zones (unless you using the million dollar cheat code which only works under the DOS Version). If you are using the million dollar cheat code, then layout plots of the three zones out. When laying out the zones be sure to keep the residential zone away from the industrial zone. Try to put commercial zoning in between residential and industrial zoning.
How to get a Good Source of Water in the Middle of Land
When you have a lot of land, and not enough water pumps do the following. First lay down a number of water pumps in a square shape, then fill the next section in with water. Then repeat that until the water pumps go all the way to the center of the center of the square shape.

How to have fun with your Traffic Helicopters
After you have a nice sized city with an airport, you can have a little fun. When you see a helicopter that is reporting traffic and it is driving you crazy you can do the following. Click on the centering tool, and then click on the helicopter. Make sure that you have "No Disasters" on or else you won't like what will happen.
How to get a little Extra Money
When building a city in can get very expense and at some point you will be in need of a little extra cash to spend. Well if a little extra spending cash is nessary, you have two options. One is to type in c-a-s-s which gives you an extra $1,500, but their is also a risk involved so beware. The other code you can type in is f-u-n-d that gives you an extra $10,000 but you pay interest on it.

How to Get a Million Dollars a Year
When You start a new city, I suggest you pause it. After you pause your game type in f-u-n-d as many times as you like. After you type in fund, go to the buget window. In the buget window go into bond payments and issue a bond. Close the buget window. After that you will receive a million dollars a year after you unpause the game.
How to have fun with your Cities Churches
After your City has grown a little bit, type in the letters d-a-r-n, and see what happens. Be sure to save your city before doing so just in case you don't like what happens.
How to get Everything in any Time Period
Before starting this code or more like sequence, it is highly recommended that you pause the game. After pausing the game click on the centering tool. To start the code press control and the F3 keys. Then click on the rotate counter-clockwise button or the left rotate button. After rotating the screen, click on the resize button that is located at the lower right of the city window. After resizing, then you click on Status Window which is the button with the weather icon. Then click on Population Icon, the button with three people on it. Then you click anywhere inside the city window. After all of this then you want to go into the disasters menu and click on the line between Riots and No Disasters.

How to Start and Stop Floods, Cause a Gargantuan Fire, and a Nuclear Meltdown
In order to start a flood you type in n-o-a-h. To stop a flood type m-o-s-e-s. To start a huge fire in your city, you type m-r-s-o-l-e-a-r-y. Lastly, to start a nuclear mealtdown, you type g-o-m-o-r-r--o-a--h
How to get a Military Base, Extra Money, See a Joke, and Get a Debug Menu
To get a military base type in g-i-l-m-a-r-t-i-n. If you want to get some extra money to spend, type in b-u-d-d-a-m-u-s. If you want to see a joke, type in j-o-k-e. If you want to get the debug menu, type in o-i-v-a-i-z-m-i-r.
